How to Find a Plastic Surgeon You Can Trust

The number of men and women opting for plastic surgery is on the rise. Year after year it becomes more and more popular and both genders are having all sorts of treatments done. Although plastic surgery is a wonderful way to get the aesthetics you want, you must be careful when choosing a surgeon. Not all of them are great at what they do, in some places they aren’t even fully qualified.

Personal Recommendations – The first place you should look is close to you. Speak with friends, family, and acquaintances to see if they can recommend a good surgeon who they have used. Have any of them had work done? If you are comfortable asking, reach out to them and see if they can help. Someone you trust will give an honest opinion and give you a breakdown of the entire process.

Use the Internet – Type keywords into Google and see what comes up. Use key phrases such as ‘breast augmentation cost’ (known as ราคาศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก in Thai) or ‘nose augmentation near me’ and see what clinics you are presented with. Once you’ve found a few in your area, you can then type their name into a search engine and start to do some research. Try to find reviews online and see what previous clients have to say about them. To get a sense of what they are like, you’ll need to read through at least 10 reviews from past patients.

Take it with a Pinch of Salt – When reading reviews online, don’t believe everything you see. They everything with a healthy dose of skepticism. Although online resources can be great for finding information about other clinics, some previous patients will post misinformation and bad reviews for minor misunderstandings.

Qualifications – Once you’ve found a handful of options, make sure you check their credentials. Where have they studied to get their medical degree? Are they qualified to carry out plastic surgery? Some doctors call themselves cosmetic surgeons, but they don’t actually hold the right qualifications for the job. Find out about their background history and see if they are a part of any recognised medical group or organisation.

Going for cosmetic surgery is a big deal and you should take the treatment seriously. You can’t just walk into any clinic and have work done without knowing who is doing it. It is important to schedule a consultation and bring a list of questions along that you need answered. If you’ve any doubts, look elsewhere.
